Matt Hayman

OWNER, CEO + PRINCIPAL PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Born & raised on the EP, I started my schooling at Cummins Area School before completing my final 3 years at St Joseph's School in Port Lincoln. I spent 5 years working around the EP before studying Physiotherapy at the University of SA where I met my beautiful wife Courtney. Courtney bravely came to Whyalla after I graduated and we lived there for 18 months while I worked at the Hospital there. We then moved to Port Lincoln where I continued to work for Country Health SA.

I have now been practising Physiotherapy for over 10 years & in 2015 realised my goal in opening my own practice - EP Physio Plus. It started out of the spare room in our house and progressed to a specially fitted out room in our shed. Things steadily progressed and we made the move to 10 Washington Street and started employing staff. Again things steadily progressed and we reached capacity at that location.

More recently we purchased 17 Edinburgh Street and had it fitted out to be, in my opinion, a world class facility that is in a position to empower the community of the Eyre Peninsula to achieve their goals.

I am passionate about helping you & your family gain optimal health with an individualised treatment plan to suit your needs. My focus is to treat not only presenting complaints but the underlying causes to ensure long term pain relief to help you reach your goals.

Matt has further postgraduate study and interest in:

  • Headache & Migraine.
  • Function Strength & Conditioning
  • Dry Needling
  • Pain Science and Chronic Pain Management
  • Neurodynamics
