Georgia Harman-Hobbs

EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST

Before practicing as an EP, I spent two years gaining experience as an Allied Health Assistant in a paediatric setting. I’ve developed a deep passion for helping children and young adults (ages 6 to early adult) build confidence through movement that is both fun and functional. I have extensive experience working with neurodivergent children (ASD/ADHD), those with development delays, or metabolic disease. I love helping my younger clients find their feet through gross motor skills and sport-specific patterns.

My approach is rooted in energy, empathy, and a genuine love for movement, as we should celebrate what our bodies can do. Inclusion and accessibility are at the heart of everything I do; my Honors project focused on supporting children with intellectual disabilities in learning how to ride a bike, because I believe everyone deserves a chance to thrive, no matter their ability.

I am also a huge advocate for Clinical Reformer Pilates. I find the Reformer to be a game-changer for rehab and movement therapy. It allows us to access exercises that your body might not be ready for on other equipment, providing a safe environment to build strength and track personal improvement. Whether you are coming back from a major injury or Pilates is something you’ve always wanted to try, I can help you build the foundation you need.

I believe that everyone deserves the chance to move and thrive, regardless of their starting point or ability. I am here to provide the perfect bridge between where you are and where you want to be. If your goal is to try Reformer Pilates or build strength post-injury to get back to your practice, I am here to help you get ‘studio-ready.’ We will focus on building the technique you need so you can eventually transition with confidence into any of the amazing strength-based reformer studios in town.

Whereas, if your goals revolve around getting back to the things you love—like having the strength to get up off the floor with ease or the energy to play with your grandchildren—or seeing your children thrive on the playground and the sports field, I am also here to help. Whether it is injury rehab or mastering new motor skills, I am here to ensure that movement is empowering and the best part of your day.
